My opinion today....
SHAPE WEAR....A MUST
I once fell asleep in my spanx…and nearly suffocated. I woke up sweating and breathing very heavily….Note to self before going to bed please remove “All” restrictive garments…lol
I think all of us at one time or another has wondered about the proper sequence of undergarments. Let’s say you have a pair of pantyhose, a panty, and a piece of shape wear. In what order do you put them on? Do you wear all of them or forfeit something?
For starters, most of us felt panties should be worn. However I don’t think they are necessary as today’s shape wear are made with a cotton crotch and therefore designed to eliminate the need for panties.
Wearing panties under the shape wear creates an additional line and if you try wearing panty hose over the shape wear, the panty hose tends to itch down your body ever so often that you find yourself visiting the ladies room more than you would want.
Personally if there is need for me to wear panty hose…I put the panty hose on first and then the shape wear. I have tried wearing knew high stocking with my shape wear to try and eliminate the extra layer for easy access to the bathroom…(cause form my experience removing my spanx is not an easy task eh)…but for some reason knee high stocking refuses stay up on me..So I’ve opted for regular panties hose.
A piece of shapewear should be in every plus size girls closet. Invest in a good one (I suggest spanx)…they lasts for years…I’ve replaced my last one in 2008 and it’s still going stong….afterall you don’t really wear them every day.
It helps to Camoflauge our not so flaterring bluges.

My opinion of the day
Biggest mistake?
- Have you ever wondered what is the biggest mistake we fat women make when it comes to Fashion (yes I said it...I am fat..we are fat...so embrace it...lol)
- I"d have to say our biggest mistake is NOT wearing tight, clingy, short clothes. It is the way we feel about our self because we are not as skinny as Nathifa Bonadie (she is gonna kill me...love you teefer)
- So we easily gravitate to clothes that are just plain and simple and huge, trying to cover up our "fat" selves.
- My advise to you if you dont like the way you look, do something about it, change your eating habits, get in some daily exercise but don't just settle for boring, illfitted or out of shape clothing although I have to admit that it is harder to find nice, sexy, flattering , clothes for our phatibulous (is that even a word, lol) bodies.
- Don't try to hide your buldging belly or size DD breast. Dont avoid sitting down because you think your thighs will spread out.(Listen I have thunder thighs, but I absolutley love to wear shorts, I pair up those bad boys with some pumps and I rule the world..lol)
- Wear clothes that you love . If you like mini skirts or dresses and you think you look hot in them, go ahead , unless you find them extremely uncomfortable. Show people that you're fat and you don't care. Skinny jeans with loose tops and a pair of pumps can go a long way with us plus size girls. Stop trying to hide those curves, embrace them and learn to show them off with classy but fitted clothes.
- WALK OUT IN CONFIDENCE... (I'm just saying)
ASOS Curve Dress In Rocco Print
Aye ya yi ya Yi

Ladies and its only 55 Bucks at www.asos.com. Save up for it!!!!
This is a must have
I am drooling. This dress can be worn to any occasion. Dress it up, dress it down, and you"ll still look stunning.
I'm wearing mines to Church!!!!
Bias Zippered Colorblock Dress
It's just the right lenght, cause it hits just above the knee...so those of us with thunder thigh (like myself) wont have to worry about it being too short. The material is a mixture of polyester and spandex so it fits and flows very smoothly so we wont have to worry about it riding up either.
And it comes in two colours (sigh wish there was a green in there...lol)
Also the zipper that runs in the bias draws attention away from those with the little belly pouch.
My advise for those, who do not want it too clingy to the skin, go a size up.
